Suzanne thought she would start a self help group for all the
students at her night class after their class, her roomate also was part of the
naturally evolving group.
she had been a part of book group discussions and once a grief group for
6 weeks but this was different, in Venice the community center lent them the
space and it started to be known around their, college beyond just the class itself.
A foundation approached them to think about a womens center for the campus
and the community center also.
To bring together women from all backgrounds, was one mission.
The foundation was started years before.
Preventing suicide was the main focus out of grief groups, came
prevention programs.
